A LITTLE
BIT ABOUT...

The Blog
This blog was started with the intent to address the turbulent transition that I experienced during my first year outta college.
But after talking with friends who are also recent grads, I realized that I'm not the only one feeling this way.
So who and what are post grad hustlas?
Well, maybe you're struggling through unpaid or small stipend internships to build resumes, taking seasonal or temporary contract jobs just to pay the bills, having a hard time transitioning from college memories to real world realities or even journeying through life mindlessly going against what you don't even know or feel is your purpose and inspiration.
So with this blog, I want to reframe what I thought was a post grad struggle and claim it as my post grad hustle. Everyone has a different one and these are just my misguided adventures.
Misguided (definition) | having or showing faulty judgment or reasoning
Adventure (definition) | an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity
Hustler (definition) | an aggressively enterprising person;
a go-getter

Jessica Jones
Multimedia Designer | Writer Dream Hustla
My name is Jessica Jones. I'm a year outta college and just trying to understand this struggle boat called life. I'm a multimedia designer.
I love all things digital: cameras, computers, video games, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Youtube and Netflix (My Main Bae right here).
I am slowly starting to learn and understand social media as well as
to hustle after my dreams through actualizing my purpose.
My purpose, as of now, is to create spaces where diverse and even those who feel under/misrepresented are able to be real and in love with themselves FIRST and to address that realness boldly in whatever life places or struggle boat paddles us towards.
Right now, I still mistrust my voice not only as a writer but sometimes in person. So my goal with this blog as the writer is to claim my hustle and transform it into these blog posts that will hopefully spark a community and a discussion for more people to start hustlin' after their dreams and self-actualizing their purpose especially during a transitional time as post college graduation. With that said, Much Love and Keep Hustlin'
